Dragon Baby Belly

It IS the Year of the Dragon ater all! Strangely enough, this is the FIRST dragon I have had requested -- what a treat! The mama-to-be also requested a lotus blossom and 3 koi fish (each fish representing the mama, the dad, and their sweet puppy). This was such a fun design to do!!

Tourney Town FUN!

Face Fiesta had the great pleasure of being the Official Face Painters for the NCAA Women's Final Four Games in Denver! We painted NONSTOP for 3 days of fun and excitement at Tourney Town, the event that builds up to and kicks off the actual games. It was so fun to be part of this -- lots of people from out of town but tons of Denver folks there, too, to experience the energy!

Heart Basketball!

This sweet girl (Grace Lawson) was about to go on stage to play her guitar and sing an original song for a talent competition.  She was SO good!  (And you could see her hand paintings when she played her guitar!  Awesome!)

Niiiiiiice!  "Can I have a flaming basketball shooting through a hoop?"  YES!

Rose Henna Belly

This mom had some wonderful ideas for her belly!  She wanted a mandala-style design with this specific design in the center and some Indian-style henna motifs, but she also wanted something to represent her Irish heritage and love -- we decided together that roses would be perfect for this!  I think this may be one of my favorite belly designs!  Collaborating with the mom-to-be is one if the best part of henna-ing pregnant bellies!

Mardi Gras fun!!!

Painted faces (and bodies!) at UltraSheer Nightclub in Westminster last weekend to kick off Mardi Gras!  FUN folks -- great party!!!

 

Painting Bronco Willis McGahee for name.com!

Last Friday, I got to paint Bronco player Willis McGahee for Name.com's spoof of GoDaddy's Body Paint Superbowl commercial!  This was a super-fun job for an awesome local company -- love jobs like this!!

Painting Bronco Helmet for Ken Clark on Fox31

Love that the Broncos made it to the playoffs -- that always means some fun work for me!
Last Friday morning, I got to paint Ken Clark's Head for Colorado's Everyday Show on Fox31 -- it was fast and furious and tons of fun!
